About RA Therapy & Training

I’m Robyn Hutchinson and I’m the proud owner of RA Therapy & Training

My interest in equestrian sport originally led me to train as a riding instructor, however once qualified as a BHS Intermediate Instructor (now known as a BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach) I allowed my fascination for biomechanics, injury and rehabilitation to grow and initially trained in both Human and Equine Bowen Therapy finally leaving my position as a Senior Instructor at Wellington Riding to begin RA Therapy & Training in September 2008.

Over the years my passion for working with both horse and rider to minimise injury and maximise performance has developed and I have continued to add to my portfolio of techniques, allowing me to now offer a unique combination of services to clients with both two and four legs! I currently use a combination of Sports and Remedial Massage, Bowen Therapy, Kinesiology Taping and Rehabilitation Programmes to benefit human clients and Veterinary Physiotherapy and Equine Bowen Therapy for my animal clients.

In 2020 the completion of my post graduate studies in Veterinary Physiotherapy (NAVP) allowed me the time to focus on developing my business culminating in the opening of a dedicated, professional rehabilitation centre in the summer of 2022. The centre is situated just outside Shipston on Stour in Warwickshire. The facilities create an excellent environment for the rehabilitation, training and maintenance of horses and riders, working at every level allowing me to continue perfecting partnerships for peak performance.

2023 is looking like another exciting year for RA Therapy & Training! The addition of Newmarket Equine Salt Therapy to the rehabilitation yard is proving very beneficial for a wide range of horses with breathing and skin conditions. The opportunity to become a series sponsor for The Cotswold Cup in 2023 will allow the RA Therapy & Training message to reach as many people as possible and I can’t wait to get out there!
